West Palm Beach, FL, in celebration of the Centennial of West Palm Beach.
Presbyterian Church, West Palm Beach, Florida, with Ray Robinson conducting.
 LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: moderately easy
church, high school, college, community, professional choruses
but I've not run across it. In Clare Shore's piece, a whistler. . .renders the melody of the old American folk tune, "Wayfaring
Stranger," to set the mood; the choir then enters, singing an attractive prayer for guidance credited to the composer. . .the
harmony is pleasant. . .The overall dimensions of the piece . . .make its use fairly flexible. . .the prevailing dynamic is soft, and the
affect meditative." (December 2009)
